The public is invited to meet the candidates who appear on the ballot in Barbour’s Primary Election during Candidates Night at Philip Barbour High School. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and the program will begin in the school’s main auditorium at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3rd.
Mike Cvechko from Cvechko Insurance will serve as the Moderator for the event. There will be plenty of time for written questions from the floor. National, state, and county offices have all been invited, including candidates running for the U. S. Senate and House of Representatives, West Virginia Senate and House of Delegates, Barbour County Commission, Barbour County Board of Education, and for Conservation District Supervisor. Reservations are not required. The candidates have also been invited to set up displays and distribute campaign literature on tables in the lobby prior to the program.
