Eric Ruf, President of the Barbour County Chamber of Commerce, presented a check in the amount of $ 200 to members of the Future Business Leaders of America during the Chamber’s Annual Banquet recently in support of the club’s activities at Philip Barbour High School. 

Accepting were club members Tristen Furby, Vanessa Kelley, Bryce McGee, Leah Seaman, and Austin Waybright.  The group assists with the collection and distribution of door prizes for the Chamber’s dinner each year.  This year, door prizes were donated by the Philippi Lions Club, Belington Medical Clinic, Dr. Millard Minor, Mountain Hospice, Barbour County Tobacco Prevention, Barbour County Health Department, Sam Santilli Photography, Broaddus Hospital, the Good Samaritan Society, Barbour County Development Authority, Premier Bank, Builders Center, Barbour County Commission, Allegheny Insurance, Gallien’s Auction Service, BC Bank, Cvechko Insurance, Medallion Restaurant, Linalou, Uninc., and Fox’s Pizza.
