Town & Country Chrysler Dodge Ram and Barb’s Restaurant, both in Belington, are the Barbour County Chamber of Commerce Members of the Month in July.

Barbara Weaver, left, is the owner of Barb’s Restaurant and Roger Bolton is the owner of Town and Country Chrysler, which sells new and used cars and trucks and offers complete automotive repair service.

Roger Bolton’s grandfather, Craig Bolton, Sr., started the automobile business in 1937, opening as the Luzerne Service Station.  The name was later changed to Bolton Motors.  Craig Bolton took the business over in 1974 when its name was changed to Town & Country Chrysler Plymouth.  The Dodge - and Dodge truck-line were added to the line-up and Dodge Truck changed its brand name to “Ram.”  Roger has worked at the dealership since he graduated from Fairmont State College in 1981.

Town & Country Chrysler is located at 151 South Crim Avenue in Belington and may be reached at Post Office Box 925, Belington 26250, or by calling (304) 823-1831.  Their website is towncountrychryslerdodge.com

Bolton serves as the voluntary President of the Barbour County Community Foundation.

Barb’s Restaurant originated in 2006 at the intersection of U. S. routes 250 and 92 in Belington in a restored auto parts building.  The restaurant, Weaver says, offers a friendly, clean and cozy atmosphere as well as an exclusive menu.  The business continues to operate under social distancing guidelines throughout the Covid 19 epidemic out of concern for the community that has supported Barb’s for so many years.  We offer a home-cooked meal with carry-out and home delivery options”, she says.

Weaver would like to thank all of their customers for their patronage.  The restaurant may be reached by calling (304) 823-1833.
