The proceeds of this year’s Annual Chamber Golf Tournament, scheduled for the Barbour Country Club on Friday, September 17th, will go, as always, to support students at Philip Barbour High School.

The Barbour County Chamber of Commerce is enlisting teams of four for a fee of $ 280, which includes golf, the use of a cart, lunch, door prizes, and the chance to win $ 10,000 cash for a hole-in-one.  Allegheny Insurance of Elkins is underwriting the hole-in-one contest, while Broaddus Hospital will provide lunch and the Barbour Health Association beverages and witnesses for the hole-in-one.

Hole sponsorships are still available for $ 100, which provides publicity at the sponsored hole and in the media.  Skills prizes from participating golf courses in West Virginia will be awarded for the longest drive, longest putt, and closest to the pin on designated holes.  Registration takes place after 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10:00 O’Clock.  Fifty/Fifty chances will be available as well as door prizes from participating Chamber members.  Tournament winners receive $ 300 in cash, runners-up $ 200.

Team registration and hole sponsorship form can be found here.
