Lewis Hall, right, received a Directors Special Award during the recent annual banquet meeting of the Barbour County Chamber of Commerce.

The award, in the form of an engraved Alderwood plaque, was presented by Chamber President Hunter Mullens.

“Hall demonstrates a loyal and steadfast commitment to Philip Barbour High School,” said Mullens.  “Lewis Hall is a Vocal, Music, and Theater Instructor at the school and has reignited the Thespian Spirit at our county high school through a dedicated, can-do attitude which has spread to our students,” said Mullens.  “Hall provides opportunities for students to expand their classroom experience in the arts.  His own life-long devotion to the arts and to his students has changed lives in Barbour County,” Mullens said.
